Right-handed; two-handed and backhand player.
In singles and in doubles
she is a former World No. - 1 ranked player. As of June 21, 2010, Kim Clijsters
is
ranked World No. - 8. Her total Career prize money is 16,433,856 $ (US)

Kim Clijsters is recognized for her deep, powerful, well-placed ground
strokes, as well as her court-wide defense,
characterized by speed and athleticism. Her first serve, while not overwhelmingly powerful, is placed
well
and earns aces and nonreturnables. Kim Clijsters tends to rush in
between first and second serves, and that
may attribute to matches with
high numbers of double faults. Her mental fragility
is considered to be the
biggest weakness for her. She was known at the earlier stages of her career
as a bit of a "choker", often surrendering big
leads in the latter rounds of
Grand Slams. Since winning the 2005 US Open,
Kim Clijsters has gained
more
control over her nerves.

Kim Clijsters has won 37 WTA (Women's Tennis Association)singles titles
and 11 WTA doubles titles. She won the US Open singles title
in 2005 and
2009. She has also won the WTA Tour Championships singles title in 2002

2003.
Kim Clijsters was twice a singles runner-up at the French Open and a onetime runner-up at the Australian Open, also reaching two Wimbledon
singles semi-finals.

Kim Clijsters announced her retirement on 6 May 2007, but almost two years
later,
on 26 March 2009, she publicly declared her intent to return to the WTA tour for the 2009 summer hard court season. In only her third tournament
back, she won her second US Open title, becoming the first unranked player

and wildcard to win the tournament, and the first mother to win a major since Evonne Goolagong in 1980.

Gwyneth Kate Paltrow is in early stages of brittle bone disease - Osteoporosis

HOLLYWOOD actress Gwyneth Paltrow is one of the most health conscious
celebs, but
is suffering from a brittle bone disease Osteoporosis which
typically effects
older women. Gwyneth Paltrow was diagnosed with the
disease after she broke her leg.
The 37 year old actress is known for her
extreme health regimes and the punishing
diets may have led to her being diagnosed with the condition, reported Daily Mail online.

“My doctors tested my vitamin D levels, which turned out to be the lowest
thing they had ever seen (not a good thing)” Paltrow writes on her Internet
newsletter Goop.
She said she was put on prescription strength vitamin D
and told to spend more time
in the sun.

Osteoporosis can be triggered by a lack of calcium and excessive exercise.
She has followed a
macrobiotic diet which is popular among celebrities for
11 years and exercises up to three
hours a day.
Some nutritionists believe her diet was also to blame for her brittle bone
problem.
"A macrobiotic diet is often lower in protein than a diet that
includes dairy foods and
meat so if she's doing a lot of exercise but not
getting enough protein, she's not getting
enough to build her bones either"
Sydney nutritionist Sharon Natoli said.

andhas averaged 27.8 points,
7.0 assists and 7.0 rebounds per game for his
careerin the regular season. As of the 2009–10 season,
he has recorded 34
triple-doubles in his career, with 28 in the regular season and six in the postseason.
On offense, he is known for using his size, strength and
quicknessto get past defenders, especially
in transition, and for absorbing
contact while finishing at the basket, with a variety of dunks and
skillful
lay-ups. In the 2005–06 season, he led the league in completed traditional
three point plays.

King James is a solid rebounder who regularly ranks among the league
leadersin rebounds for the small forward position.
His most impressive
skill however, is perhaps his ability to facilitate and create offense for his teammates,
most notably out of double-team situations. He has a remarkable average of 7.0 assists per game for his career, unheard of for a player of his
size. His skills have led to many comparisons to NBA legends Oscar
Robertson,
Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan. James was not named to
the NBA All-Defensive Team until the 2008–09 season,
when he finished
second in voting for Defensive Player of the Year.

King James is a potent wing defender, and amongst the elite help defenders
in the NBA. His ability to make
chase-down blocks, especially off opposing fastbreaks, has become a staple of his defensive game. On March 1, 2010,
James filed an application to the NBA to wear the no - 6 starting the
2010/2011 season. He started
a petition saying that no one should be allowed
to wear the no - 23 in the NBA to honor Michael Jordan. It will be the
first
time James will not be wearing the no - 23 since his freshman year in high
school, when a senior on his team wore it.

Media queen Oprah Winfrey Accused Of Cheating Handicapped Man For A Black Woman

Oprah Winfrey, is probably happy that she's retiring her show and dipping
out of the
limelight soon. The tide is SO turning against her celebrity. Oprah Winfrey is under the gun for allegedly rigging a reality web series against a handicapped man with cerebral palsy.

According to his version of the story, Jack Anner was the clear leader of a
group of TV
host contenders with over 6.9 million votes. Meanwhile, another contestant, named Phyllis, jumped out of the blue and overtook Jack Anner
with seemingly no rhyme or reason to
her rise to popularity.

According to one story, Phyllis garnered over 300,000 votes in under 20 minutes. So now, instead of someone claiming that Oprah Winfrey is the victim of some hacker or another, they're accusing Oprah of rigging the votes in support of a black woman.

Wesley Snipes' lawyers want to adjust appeal request after ex-adviser's arrest

Wesley Snipes has been asking for his conviction to be overturned.
Now his attorneys want a new trial based on Snipes's former financial
adviser's arrest.

Wesley Snipes' lawyers have asked an Atlanta court to review his tax
evasion case again and allow the charges to be dismissed or for him to be
granted a new trial amid the arrest of his former financial adviser
Kenneth Starr, who they say had been under investigation for his own tax violations when he testified against Snipes in 2008.

Starr, who has pleaded not guilty, was charged in May with securities
fraud worth $59 million. Snipes' lawyers say the charges against Starr
"revealed new evidence pointing to a miscarriage of justice at Mr. Snipes' trial." Defense attorneys say an investigation would damage Starr's credibility.

The Blade actor was convicted in 2008 of three misdemeanor counts of
willful failure to file his income tax returns and given a three-year-prison sentence. Prosecutors said Snipes made at least $13.8 million over three
years and owed $2.7 million in back taxes that he refused to pay. The actor
has apologized, saying he was "unschooled in the science of law and
finance".
Snipes is free on bail and his lawyers have already appealed his
case but
want a new appeal issued following Starr's arrest.
